Production Worker -Manufacturing

Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer of insulated panels

We are currently looking for a Production worker / Forklift operators to work in their manufacturing facility located in Truganina. These roles are permanent positions for immediate start.

Your duties are namely manufacturing & assembling doors including safely operating power / hand tools and forklift when required.

  Role & Responsibilities.
• Operating machinery and equipment efficiently to meet production targets
• Manufacturing & assembling pre insulated panel doors including hardware such as locks, hinges etc.
• Operating hand / power tools such as drills, drop saws etc.
• Forklift & manual duties when required.
• Communicate with supervisors
• Work autonomously once trained.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area to ensure a safe and productive workspace.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work environment
  
  Preferred attributes & experience
• Previous production hand experience of at least 3 yrs + in a similar position.
• Confident in using hand and power tools
• Forklift licence with at least 2 years recent experience
• Mechanical minded with an eye for detail.
• Punctual with reliable own transport.
• Fit and healthy.
• A strong work ethic / can do attitude / willingness to help others / assist with housekeeping.
• Must have full working rights in Australia - 40 hours per week.

  Position requires Monday to Friday working day shift with a 6.30am start with one RDO per month.
