Our client, located in Campbellfield, is one of Australia’s leading building materials manufacturers. We are currently recruiting General Hands /Production workers with Forklift License to assist in their day-to-day production process and are full time positions for immediate start.

  Role & Responsibilities
• Load & unload steel raw materials onto an overhead gantry crane, and production line.
• Production support including process work / data entry general labouring.
• Preparation and packaging of finished products
• Use forklift to safely move raw materials and finished products
• Use 2-way radio.
• Line startup / shut down / adjust machine settings.
• Maintain accurate production records (production settings, waste, etc)
• Report and rectify inconsistencies in production
• Respond promptly to quality assurance issues and ensure quality standards are always met.
• Operate touch screen interface.
  
  Preferred attributes & experience.
• A quick learner with at least 2 yrs. experience in production line work.
• Forklift license with at least 2 years hands on experience
• Basic data entry skills and use of touch screen
• Punctual with reliable own transport.
• Physically fit for manual work including lifting and being on your feet all day.
• A strong work ethic with a can-do attitude.
• Assist with housekeeping and maintenance.
• Pre-employment drug & alcohol screening.
  
  Position requires Monday to Friday 6.00am start and work 1-2 hrs. overtime if required.
