Store person

We have an immediate vacancy for an experienced store person with forklift licence to work on day shift 7am start, located in Tullamarine.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Help in the set up of a new store.
  
• Ensuring goods are stored safely and in the right location set out by the computer system/paperwork
  
• Assisting with the picking and despatch of orders.
  
• Performing manual checks on all incoming goods to ensure they are accurate and goods are free from damage.
  
• Operate a forklift.
  
• Assisting with general warehouse housekeeping.
  
• Liaising /communicating with internal clients.
  
• Use RF scanners.
  
  Experience and Attributes
  
  To be successful in the role you are required to hold and demonstrate the following:
  
• Previous experience in a similar role.
  
• Experience in a maintenance / automotive spare store.
  
• Valid Forklift Licence (LF).
  
• Fit and healthy for labouring work and work off ladders.
  
• Follow instructions, SWMS and strong attention to detail.
  
• Full working rights in Australia.
  
• Good communication and work ethic.
  
• Team player
