INSTRUMENTATION CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN
We are currently seeking several – Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians to be responsible for calibration, maintenance, service, and repair of fixed plant & equipment on a 24/7 continuously operating process plant.
The job location for the position is a plant in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

The role will include
- Shut down, isolate and test run machines and equipment as required for maintenance purposes
- Diagnose faults in, repair and calibrate control and monitoring loop elements, electronic systems and sub-assemblies
- Diagnose faults on electrical circuits and systems
- Perform routine calibration of process instruments including PT, TT ,FT &UV both on machine and in the workshop
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks
- Read, understand and work off electrical drawings
- Maintain workshop equipment and any reference calibration instruments.
- data entry on MMS systems
- Working to OHS standards and permit systems.
About you
- Electrical trade certificate and licence
- Certificate IV in Instrumentation.
- Fixed plant experience of at least 5 yrs + in the field of E&I. Some in the Food or dairy manufacturing Iindustry will be highly regarded.
- Read and understand drawings
- Confined space and EWP & WP ticket.
- Self-starter with can-do attitude.
- Good communication skills.
