Farm Hands – Sunraysia, VIC

Apex Labour Hire Services is recruiting 70 reliable and physically fit individuals to support orchard operations, including pruning, tree maintenance, and almond harvest activities across multiple almond farms in Sunraysia, VIC.

Employment will commence January 2026 for 12 months+, with flexible working hours averaging 30 hours per week. Successful applicants will be engaged on a Full-Time basis under the Horticulture Award 2020.

Job Description

You will be working outdoors performing duties such as:

• Tree limb pruning and orchard maintenance
  
• Sweeping, blowing and raking nuts from tree rows
  
• Operating or assisting with harvest machinery (shakers/sweepers/pick-up machines)
  
• Sorting/handling harvested almonds and preparing bins for transport
  
• Following farm safety procedures and supervisor instructions
  
  Work is physically demanding, performed in various weather conditions, and requires attention to detail and the ability to maintain high productivity.
  
  Pay and Conditions
  
• Award: Horticulture Award 2020 (MA000028) Level 2
  
• $24.95ph + Superannuation
  
• Minimum 30 hours per week for the duration of your employment
  
• Overtime and working on public holidays will be paid penalty rates
  
• Payslips issued before posting of weekly wages; all wages paid into nominated bank accounts

• You can organise your own accommodation and transport.
  
• Accommodation and transport are also available at a cost.
