Warehouse / Dispatch Coordinator

Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer of custom made refrigeration warehouses. Over the last few years, the company has grown and become an industry leader. Their manufacturing facility is in Truganina.

The Warehouse/Dispatch Supervisor will oversee the daily dispatch operations, ensuring that finished products are correctly picked, packed, and delivered to clients on time and in excellent condition. You will supervise a small team of workers, optimise workflows and maintain high standards of safety and efficiency. This role is key in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and customer satisfaction. This role is a permanent position for immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders.
  • Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, load / unload trucks & shipping.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and implement effective inventory control measures.
  • Practising of OHS standards and always fostering a safety culture.
  • Prepare and maintain dispatch reports, including delivery performance and inventory data.
  • Liaise with customers regarding delivery and delivery schedules to meet requests and uphold the timely and efficient reputation of the business
  • Organising and booking in transport including cranes and semi-trailer delivery – preparation of manifests up to 10 trucks per day.
  • Ordering inventory and sourcing suppliers as necessary
  • Loading and unloading of trucks when required only

    About You:
  • 4+ years’ experience in a dispatch or warehouse role, ideally within a manufactured to order industry.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management and logistics.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • Good communications and customer relationship skills.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Current Forklift license.
  • Reliable own transport
