Delivery Driver – 4.5T Truck

Our client is a manufacturer of electrical hardware products servicing the builders and distributers from their warehouse in Campbellfield. We currently have a delivery driver position for immediate start.

You'll be responsible for the daily delivery of customer orders across Melbourne CBD, following a pre-planned route built by the Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator each morning.

This isn't just a drop-and-go role. You're representing your employer at the customer's door — so professionalism and care matter.

Key tasks include:

• Completing daily Melbourne CBD delivery runs using a pre-planned route on a 4.5T auto delivery truck std car license.
• Loading and securing orders in the truck prior to departure
  
• Delivering products safely and on time
  
• Capturing proof of delivery (photo/signature) for every drop
  
• Communicating in real time with the warehouse team on any issues — no one home, access problems, damaged goods
  
• Occasionally collecting stock from suppliers when orders fall below free delivery thresholds
  
• Keeping the truck clean, roadworthy, and reported for any maintenance needs
  
• Returning undelivered items to the warehouse with clear notes for the team

About you

• Valid full Australian driver's license (car) — essential

• Clean driving record.

• at least 2 yrs + Experience driving a van or light commercial vehicle (LCV) with a good knowledge of Melbourne CBD

• Physically fit

• Reliable own transport, punctual, and self-managed — you operate largely independently once on the road

• Good communication skills

• Comfortable with paperwork for proof of delivery.

• Forklift license (LF) and white card — desirable but not essential
